CLASSIC AMERICANA - Bean Creek Valley History Center

CLASSIC AMERICANA - Bean Creek Valley History Center

How can you not love the Bean Creek Valley History Center, a title so rich in Americana that its storefront merited a spot in my book, Historic Barns of Ohio? Nestled in barn-rich Fulton County, this historical society rocks! The event will be held at the history center in bustling downtown Fayette. Free parking, too.

Unlike at other events, I won't be doing a painting demo, using palette knives and impasto technique, of an old barn.  At around 6:30 PM, I'll begin telling stories about fascinating aspects of barns in Ohio and in other states.

I'll also be signing my books around 7:30 PM, after I finish telling stories - HISTORIC BARNS OF OHIO, which lists the paintings and essays of barns in all 88 Ohio counties (The History Press) and my two full-color books, ROUND BARNS OF AMERICA and STONE BARNS OF AMERICA, both published by Acclaim Press. The second volume on stone barns (west of the Mississippi) should be available, too.
